The latest NetScaler software release expands on the trailblazing TriScale technology to drive rapid advancement for mobile clients, enterprise cloud networks and virtual desktops. The new 10.1 version provides a rich set of capabilities to optimize the datacenter in three key areas.

Superior application experience for mobile end clients

Organizations are increasingly supporting bring-your-own-device programs, with clients utilizing complex mobile access technology. IT must quickly adapt to address challenges such as latency, congestion, interference and security. To maximize LAN-like use for mobile clients, NetScaler supports protocols including Westwood TCP, multi-path TCP and SPDY. Additionally, the XenMobile NetScaler Connector (XNC) provides enhanced security, performance and resiliency.

Cloud scalability and flexibility for the enterprise

As enterprises expand they need the ability to scale their resources easily yet securely. While the cloud can provide fast, flexible, low cost IT infrastructure, many operations are not ready for this move. For those organizations, NetScaler 10.1 delivers cloud scalability with the security of an enterprise network, clustering to combine instances via SDX appliances and separate routing flows within a single appliance for basic multi-tenancy via Traffic Domains.

NetScaler provides an open platform that consolidates service delivery with less hardware and significantly reduced management overhead. BlueCat DNS/DHCP, WebSense Data Loss Prevention and CSE Secure Systems SECUREMATRIX are just three of the third party services that can be provisioned as virtualized workloads on NetScaler SDX. 

Deep visibility for web apps and virtual desktops

Extensive visibility into traffic flows is provided through NetScaler Insight Center, which consists of two main components – HDX Insight for ICA traffic and Web Insight for web applications. These capabilities are designed for troubleshooting and analysis and can generate real-time client and server latency measurements and end-to-end performance data.

NetScaler delivers large-scale network capacity for cloud, enterprise and telcos

Introducing the NetScaler 22000 series, an ultra-high capacity scalable platform available in five models to suit the growth requirements of public clouds, enterprise cloud networks, service providers and mobile networks. This latest solution provides the ability to scale up by three times from 40 to 120 Gbps. Through TriScale clustering technology, up to 32 individual appliances may act as one to offer groundbreaking capacity in excess of 3 Tbps. The new architecture sets a world record for secure communications with over half a million SSL transactions per second when using 2048-bit certificates. As with all NetScaler solutions, every combination of features may be concurrently utilized with no loss of functionality. The 2U height appliances minimize space requirements and are also available with NEBS Level 3 certification.
